Experience:
Mr. Juska's practice deals extensively with cargo damage claims and he is well-versed in a wide variety of types of cargo, from containerized shipments to bulk cargoes, including bulk liquids. An equal amount of his practice is devoted to charter party disputes and he is experienced in maritime arbitration. In addition to these primary areas of practice, Mr. Juska has considerable experience in oil pollution, marine contracts, collision, general average, commercial litigation and provisional remedies, such as arrest and attachment. He represents a variety of clients, such as commodities traders, chartering brokers and insurance brokers in commercial disputes, whether requiring litigation or arbitration. He has arbitrated cases both before the Society of Maritime Arbitrators and the American Arbitration Association.
