Ms. Cummings graduated from Tulane University School of Law, magna cum laude, with a Certificate of Specialization in Maritime Law in 2025. During her time in law school, Ms. Cummings served as a Legal Clerk for the Tulane Legal Assistance Program, a legal service providing free legal information and low-cost representation to current Tulane students, staff, and faculty. Ms. Cummings graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Ms. Cummings is fluent in English and Spanish.

Ms. Cummings worked as a Summer Associate at a law firm in Puerto Rico during her summer of the first year of law school. Her experience also includes serving as an Extern for the United States Coast Guard, Eighth District, during the Fall of 2024. Finally, she worked as a Summer Associate in 2024 for Freehill Hogan and Mahar LLP. Subsequently, she joined the firm following graduation.
