For the fifteenth consecutive year, Chambers USA for 2019 has ranked Freehill Hogan & Mahar in the top tier of maritime law firms with a nationwide practice. Chambers USA 2019, released on April 25, 2019, once again lists the firm in the top tier, where Freehill is joined by only one other firm. In addition to again ranking the firm No. 1, Chambers has singled out 32 shipping attorneys as “Leading Individuals” and six, more than from any other firm, are FHM partners. Peter Gutowski and Wayne Meehan were two of the four attorneys named to Band 1 of the ranked attorneys. The other ranked Freehill parents were: Bill Juska, Don Murnane, Gina Venezia, and Mike Unger. Chambers USA’s profile of Freehill quotes clients of the firm, saying that Freehill lawyers “are excellent, friendly and prompt” and are a “wonderful group of lawyers.”
